How to Make a Basic Division

1. Type your first number (for example 25) in cell B1 and your second (for example 5) in cell C1. Type equals symbol (=) into cell D1, this opens the function box.


2.  Click B1 to enter number into formula, then type plus symbol (/) to signify division.

3.  Finally click C1 to add second number to equation and click green tick (✔). Answer (5) will now show in cell D1.
