Today I’m going to walk you through a super quick tutorial on how to format a hard drive to work on Mac and PC. 

How To Format A Hard Drive To Work On Mac and PC

  1. Go to your Spotlight app in the toolbar at the top.
  2. Search for Disk Utility.
  3. Locate and select the external hard drive.
  4. Click Erase and then change the format to MS-DOS.
  5. Click Erase.
